3D meshes of the model disappear when selecting the entire mesh in the editor. #736
In the screenshot, you can see the coordinate axes in the scene window where the character model should be. It was there, and everything was fine. But sometimes (I haven't figured out how to reproduce the error yet), the model disappears when selecting it in the scene hierarchy (specifically, in the scene hierarchy, not when clicking on the mesh in the visual scene window).
Restarting the editor doesn't help. The model remains invisible.
Hi @workhardx2025-ship-it!
I'm sorry for that and that's the first time I see this problem! =O
Is it an animated model animated thanks to a skeleton? I see the mesh is a child of a transform node, is the mesh at position 0,0,0? It looks stupid asked like this but multiple times I had this problem
Привет@workhardx2025-ship-it!
Yes, there's a nested mesh, but it's visually missing from the haystack. It's located inside its parent in 0,0,0. No,
it's a mesh without animation (it doesn't have animation groups).
I've simply outlined the problem for now. If this happens to anyone else, then we'll need to think more about this bug.
My main problem is that I did not reproduce anywhere :(
What would be awesome: can you share a repository or a zip with your project so I can spot the bug directly in your context? Thanks a lot
