<p>

Frédéric Collonval is a Scientific Software Developer at

QuantStack. He got graduated at the Polytechnic Faculty of Mons (Belgium) and at

French aerospace engineering school ISAE-Supaero. Then he passed his PhD at TU Munich (Germany)

on combustion modeling. Later he developed scientific softwares in aeronautics and more recently for

identity verification.

</p>

<p>

Frederic co-founded

<a href="https://gitlab.com/cosapp/cosapp"

>CoSApp</a

>

when working at Safran Group, a modeling framework relying on the Python

scientific stack and

<a href="https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab">JupyterLab</a>.

</p>

<p>

As an open source developer, Frederic is contributing to various projects in the <a href="https://jupyter.org">jupyter</a>

eco-system. Most notably, he is maintainer of <a href="https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab-git">Git</a> and

<a href="https://github.com/mamba-org/gator">Gator</a> (packages and environments management) extensions

for <a href="https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab">JupyterLab</a>. He tries to help others getting started with

JupyterLab by contributing to the <a href="https://github.com/jupyterlab/extension-examples">extension examples</a> and by

managing the <a href="https://jupyterlab-contrib.github.io/">JupyterLab Community contribution</a> GitHub organization.
