Design: Hide passwords from physical input in Flutter apps on Android #191197

What problem are you solving?

Flutter apps currently process virtual and physical keyboard inputs identically, causing them to behave differently on Android 17+ compared to other SDKs. Unlike native Android apps, Flutter does not distinguish between these input types; as a result, it fails to instantly hide characters typed via physical keyboards, leading to an inconsistent and potentially insecure user experience.
