iirc support for Nodes package exports was planned for TypeScript 4.5 but it did not happen/work out... any plan to add it to 4.6?
Sort of clarification of this comment by Ryan Cavanaugh (@RyanCavanaugh)

Why aren't there any updates on the roadmap wiki page anymore?

Daniel Rentz (@danielrentz) I have to update that, sorry!

Typically the npm release has a corresponding TypeScript release with the same tag. Why is there no "TypeScript 4.6 Beta Release" under https://github.com/microsoft/TypeScript/releases?
DanielRosenwasser commentedon Jan 27, 2022
Done https://github.com/microsoft/TypeScript/releases/tag/v4.6-beta

Did you forget to mention about new "es2022" target?

release-4.6with main for you. Here's the link to my best guess at the log.DanielRosenwasser commentedon Feb 11, 2022
Right, some tests failed and the sync/bump has to be done manually now because of the nodenext stuff. 🙄
danielrentz commentedon Feb 11, 2022
Daniel Rosenwasser (@DanielRosenwasser) Sorry to bother, but https://github.com/microsoft/TypeScript/wiki/Roadmap is still outdated.

Daniel Rosenwasser (@DanielRosenwasser) any clarification on what is going to happen with support for "Nodes package exports"? part of 4.6?
DanielRosenwasser commentedon Feb 12, 2022
Definitely not part of 4.6, but we're going to aim for 4.7.
DanielRosenwasser commentedon Feb 12, 2022
The roadmap page has been updated to reflect the final feature list of 4.5 and 4.6. Thanks everyone for their patience!
