Request for archived input data: input-2023-10-03.build7061 (404 on S3) #362

Summary

I need the supplemental data package for PGAP 2023-10-03.build7061 to annotate additional genomes consistently with earlier annotations made with this build. The package is no longer available from the public S3 bucket.

What I tried

Both URLs used by the old pgap.py and helper scripts return 404:

$ curl -sI https://ncbi-pgap.s3.amazonaws.com/input_data/input-2023-10-03.build7061.tgz | head -n 1
HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

$ curl -sI https://s3.amazonaws.com/pgap-data/input-2023-10-03.build7061.tgz | head -n 1
HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

Listing the bucket shows no 2023 packages:

$ curl -s "https://ncbi-pgap.s3.amazonaws.com/?prefix=input_data/input-2023" | grep -o '<Key>[^<]*</Key>'
(no output)

The oldest stable package I can see is input_data/input-2024-07-18.build7555.tgz.

Environment

• OS: Linux
• Run method: pgap.py with Docker
• Docker image still available: ncbi/pgap:2023-10-03.build7061

Question

1. Is an archived copy of input-2023-10-03.build7061.tgz available, and if so, how can I obtain it?
2. If not, which currently hosted build is closest to 2023-10-03.build7061, and are there release notes describing annotation differences between builds? I want to document this correctly in my methods.
