⚠️ Before posting ⚠️

  • This is a bug, not a question or an enhancement.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Write something in editor (eurooffice)
  2. Use backspace to delete characters
  3. Only works for one character
  4. Deleting multiple characters fails

Expected behaviour

It should be possible to delete an unlimited amount of characters.

Actual behaviour

It's only possible to delete the last character.

Hello @himpierre , thanks for reporting.
I tried on an emulared Pixel 10 and couldn't reproduce the issue.
The editor you see in Android is basically a webview that displays your server's eurooffice editor. So the problem may be related to the Graphene webview (Vanadium) or something related the mobile app.
I'd try first to verify the simplest one: the mobile app. May I ask you to try and open the same document using Graphene's web browser and check if the problem is happening also there?
If it's happening, then I suggest to install the Dev version from here, replicate the issue and go to the settings to harvest the logs and attach them to this issue.

    Thank you for your collaboration!

    Hello @himpierre ,
thanks for the logs. Unfortunately they do not contain any js console error, so they don't add a lot to what we know.
But the fact you have been able to reproduce the issue in the Vanadium browser, outside of the app, is really useful, because it tells us the problem is not in the app, but somewhere in EuroOffice or in its integration with Nextcloud.
I suggest you to open an issue in this repository: https://github.com/Euro-Office/eurooffice-nextcloud explaining the problem. Please mention it happens in Vanadium and please add a link to this issue, so that the person that will pick up the new issue is aware of our first troubleshooting.

    Thank you for your cooperation!
    Have a nice day.
