this is still relevant !!

This is still relevant. I don't want the giant Agent box on the homepage, please stop trying to shove this stuff down our throats!

Well, I guess if you don’t pay, you just become “the product.”
I can just imagine the meeting with the execs from the parent company forcing this down the throats of GitHub’s developers.

You can mark it "off-topic" now.

When I asked for the "Agents" section to be hidden I did not mean to replace the profile tab, which I use daily, with a "copilot" button. I want less AI shoved down my throat, not more. Plus if you have to have a separate tab for that why not replace the "Explore" tab and bring back the far more useful profiles tab?

That is where they're tracking interest in the potential reversal of the new useless change.

I have never used Agent Tasks, and I have no desire to do so from the mobile app. I just want to see my favorites, but now I have to scroll even further to do so since the "Agents" section is in the way. How can I turn it off?

Unfortunately, there is currently no setting in the mobile app to hide or disable the "Agent Tasks" section. It is hardcoded into the layout in recent updates.

Here are your best options:
If you have Admin access: Go to Admin Center > Apps and integrations > Apps on a desktop browser. Look for the Agent Tasks app and either Disable it or set Role Restrictions so it doesn't load for your user role.

Feedback: Since many users share this concern about extra scrolling, consider posting or upvoting this on the official Product Feedback forum so the developers add a customization toggle in future mobile releases.

The useless Copilot tab is gone for me now. 🎉

The useful profile button is not back tho.

But gotta count whatever wins we get ig.

delete/hide it plz also in github.com
