GitHub builds the Contributors list from the commit history of the default branch (main), and that includes people named in Co-Authored-By lines. Removing those lines with the force-push was the actual fix. Your last resort would be to reach out to GH support at I hope this helps. |

Body
I own the repository https://github.com/JasonLeon01/Ludork.
Claude Code previously added Claude attribution to commits while editing documentation. I subsequently squashed/rewrote the affected history and updated the remote repository. However, Claude is still displayed in the repository’s Contributors section, well beyond the approximately 24-hour refresh period documented by GitHub.
Could you investigate the discrepancy between the Contributors display and the current repository history/API results, and refresh or rebuild the relevant contributor statistics or cache?
If an internal reference is retaining the attribution, please identify it and advise whether any further action is required from me.
I can provide a screenshot of the affected Contributors display.
Thank you.
