Add Redis Cluster support to MultiDbClient #3765

Description

@Curtisjk

Feature Request

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe

We currently have a deployment which uses 2 x Redis Clusters deployed in different geographic locations. We require the ability to use client-side failover to switch to from one cluster to another in case of a failure.

We have implemented the use of MultiDbClient but have discovered through testing that this does not support Redis Cluster. The documentation is also not clear on which deployment types it works on.

Is this a known limitation? Is it currently on any roadmap?

Describe the solution you'd like

Support for Redis Cluster inside MultiDbClient and/or clearer documentation on this.

    Hello @Curtisjk
    We have this item on our roadmap, and the expected ETA is September this year. I can ping you once we start working on it so you can review and try it out.
