suggest notes based on contributor's home region #429

Yes, the ‘Needs your help’ feed is full of notes that give context on topics I am completely unaware of. When someone registers for the Community Notes feature, the only option is to receive notes based on language.
However, it would be much more useful if notes were suggested to contributors based on their location.

Describe the solution you'd like
‘Need your help’ and ‘New’ note suggestions should be based on the contributor’s home region, not just their selected language. This way, notes in that region could receive the necessary votes to reach ‘helpful’ or ‘not helpful’ status more quickly.

Additional context
I’m from Hungary, but the suggestions always come from the US or India — rarely from Europe. There hasn’t been a single case where the system suggested a Hungarian note, even though I’ve set both English and Hungarian as my preferred languages.
As a note writer, this is very frustrating, because not a single note I’ve written on local posts has reached ‘helpful’ or ‘not helpful’ status. Only 3 out of 50 notes have reached that status, and those were on US-based posts.
