For installation, configuration, customization, and usage questions, search or ask in Discussions Q&A. Include what you are trying to accomplish, what you tried, and your USWDS version when relevant. If you are unsure whether something is a bug, Q&A is a good place to start.

Use Issues for reproducible bugs, concrete enhancements to existing functionality, and work that needs tracking. A bug report does not need a known root cause or a proposed fix. Accessibility defects belong in Issues too.

Use Ideas for exploratory suggestions and Proposals for new components and patterns. If a discussion identifies implementation work, create an issue and link both conversations.

Report errors in designsystem.digital.gov documentation or website behavior in uswds-site. Follow the security policy for potential vulnerabilities.
