The Dodgers Post

Love this podcast but they only update the Apple feed sporadically. Hate listening to it on YouTube.

Jack and Dylan are great together. And it’s a big benefit that Dylan’s gets from speaking Japanese and clearing understanding what Ohtani says. I really enjoy that part!

Could you guys please read the following aloud in honor of Hispanic Heritage month? I will play it for my students in class… As far as I am aware, nobody on the major Dodgers podcasts has mentioned that last year the Dodgers won the World Series on Día de los Muertos. Considering the huge Chicano fan base of the team and the Dodgers history of racial inclusivity, I think this is a point which should be mentioned.

Dylan Hernandez is good for Dodger Baseball. For a bunch of reasons. He actually critiques the Dodgers players, admin and culture. He’s a fan underneath that shows through his unkempt and semi traditional facial hair. He’s a journalist, no Jim Murray, but he questions and challenges and that’s what good journalists do…his insight into Japanese culture is a huge plus and litters his observations with nuanced analysis. Jack…also a fine writer, has overcome his Tobey McGuire doppelgänger issues and provides terrific insight. Together they create the best Dodger content on any/all platforms. signed former Network sports Producer.
