#191Description
The tools package is deprecated:
https://developer.android.com/tools#tools-sdk
I didn't spend a long time investigating, but it seems like Google has stopped serving the sdkmanager tools package this morning.
Leading to:
Warning: Failed to find package 'tools'

packages:
description: 'Additional packages to install'
required: false
default: 'tools platform-tools'to the following:
packages:
description: 'Additional packages to install'
required: false
default: 'cmdline-tools platform-tools'And rename references in the documentation. I am not sure if this is a breaking change or not (that would require a v5).
Consumers might be looking for tools and have to migrate.
If people are stuck in the meantime while this issue is fixed, they can do (in their Android repos):
- name: Android SDK setup
uses: android-actions/setup-android@v4
with:
packages: 'platform-tools'Which will prevent the deprecated and problematic tools from being requested
