  • NJ TRANSIT President & CEO Kris Kolluri was joined by Camden and Gloucester County officials, Via Vice President of Policy & Government Affairs Aparna Paladugu, and invited guests to celebrate the launch of CG Hopper, a new microtransit pilot program serving Camden and Gloucester counties. Developed through a partnership among NJ TRANSIT, Senior Citizens United Community Services (SCUCS), Camden County, and Gloucester County, CG Hopper launched as a free, on-demand shared-ride service operated by Via. Designed to improve mobility for seniors and individuals with disabilities, the program provides convenient, accessible transportation throughout the service area while connecting riders to NJ TRANSIT's broader network. The launch highlighted a shared commitment to expanding transportation options, improving accessibility, and helping residents travel more independently across county lines.

  • Congratulations to NJ TRANSIT's very own, Lyla R Wilkins, MBA! APTA’s Leadership year‑long curriculum, collaborative capstone work, and executive site visits play a vital role in developing future transit leaders, and we are thrilled to see Lyla contribute her talent, dedication, and passion throughout this transformative experience!

🎓 Reflecting on a Transformative Journey: Leadership APTA Class of 2026 Graduating from the prestigious Leadership APTA program as a member of the Class of 2026 is a true honor. The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) stands as the premier entity championing public transportation across North America—driving innovation, advocacy, and excellence across our industry. Being selected to participate alongside an extraordinary cohort of transit leaders has been both humbling and inspiring. From our kick-off in Boston in September 2025 to our capstone and graduation in Chicago in October 2026, this year-long journey required total dedication, collaboration, and rigorous professional growth. The intensive curriculum, executive site visits, and collaborative capstone work provided invaluable lessons that have fundamentally shaped my perspective as a transit executive. Special thanks to the APTA leadership, facilitators, my fellow Class of 2026 colleagues, and my team at NJ Transit / River LINE for their unwavering support throughout this incredible milestone! 🚍🚆✨ #LeadershipAPTA #APTA2026 #PublicTransportation #TransitLeadership #LightRail #NJTransit #RiverLINE #Transform2026
