AI labs once treated codeforces problems as a benchmark to hill-climb. They have clearly succeeded at this goal, and achieved superhuman performance for pennies. However, we all know that there's one thing much more important than rating on CF. Conspicuously, it just so happens to be the case that AI is much worse than humans at this one thing. What is this "one thing", you ask? Farming contribution, of course.
Recent events (or should I say "Recent actions"?) unfortunately suggest that AI might be developing moderate competence in this once human-dominated field too. This blog has received 172 upvotes, something unheard of for AI-authored content.
As a foremost expert in this field, I'm introducing ContributionBench, a benchmark that aims to measure AI progress in contribution-farming.
The methodology is simple and robust:
- A blog is eligible for the benchmark if and only if pangram detects >95% of it to be AI-generated, and it contains no embedded images/videos.
- A blog's CCI (Contribution Capability Index) is equal to $$$\dfrac{v + c/5}{\sqrt[3]{L}}$$$, where $$$v$$$ is the number of upvotes, $$$c$$$ is the number of comments, and $$$L$$$ is the number of characters in the title + body.

Also I think the reason why the other blog got that much upvotes is because it's a funny, creative human made idea, unlike AI generated blogs by a certain color of usernames
take a look at the new leader :skull:
this Ai-written blog have 750+ upvotes sadly due to the sheer size of the blog it gets a mere 69.3
https://codeforces.com/blog/entry/155674 This stupid blog complaining about AI users which is obviously AI written and has +91 gets, nearly 8 points(Please go and downvote).
We get it bro it's bad but you don't have to start a riot because of it
Not a riot just when you click the link also click downvote button
Well this bro has +41 Contribution with only typing "GPT write me some emotional blog" and i think this is not fair.
Accept it then, the blog is too old to still have controversy going on about it anyways
https://codeforces.com/blog/entry/156327 gets about 170.7
I really like that contest announcement, but pangram detects 100% of it to be AI generated and it contains text only, so it seems eligible. Though, it's not surprising that a contest announcement has many upvotes + many comments (especially when it has a creative format).
I disqualify this one
Pangram doesn’t work for code I think
Imagine if the first blog had $$$180.92946273311546$$$ more characters?..
