“If you are a Godzilla fan you absolutely NEED to see this movie. In fact, even if you aren’t a Godzilla fan, you need to see this AND Godzilla Minus One. This has to be one of the greatest follow-ups to one of the greatest movies made in the last 20 years.“

“As a life-long Kaiju fan, I would highly recommend you watch this movie. It had endless adventure, drama, suspense, and Kaiju madness. Seeing Godzilla on the big screen is a once in a lifetime opportunity. 👍”
— Santiago

“Definitely didn’t disappoint. It brought the same nuanced perspective of the first movie. With ordinary people fighting against monsters as forcses of nature, terrifying and merciless. These aren’t superheros but regular people using ingenuity to go against impossible situations. The added setups with the other governments trying to use them as pawns strikes as reality. I definitely felt true tension in a lot of the scenes. highly recommend.”

“Actions sequences and CGi were insanely amazing, human emotion and story telling were also off the charts. There were so many powerful lessons embedded within the drama, and a powerful reminder of the horror of nuclear war or war in general. Amazing.”

“A superb, intense, epic, cinematic, and a superior sequel that is grounded yet stays entertaining in the most spectacular way. A must-see in theaters but truly A MUST-SEE in IMAX (Filmed For IMAX) as IMAX delivers a much more immersive experience of sound & visuals and feeling the intensity of Godzilla’s Presence. Highly Recommend it! Grade: “A””

“SIMPLY AMAZING I went to see this movie with a lot of anticipation, and what I saw was incredible. Let’s start with the “boring” part, the humans, who, incredibly, aren’t bad. The arc of most of the humans is good And it makes you worry about them, especially Shikishima, Noriko, and Akiko, as well as Noda, Aoyamaya, and Muka (that’s just a nickname for him because I forgot his real name). Now for the good part, The monsters are ABSURD, Ghidorah is menacing and incredibly good, Godzilla, even though he only appears briefly, is great to see again, and the final battle is BRUTAL, I was very surprised by what I saw in that battle, and the ending left me wanting more, and I hope Takashi makes a sequel if he can. Incredible and perfect film.”

“The greatest sequel to the greatest Godzilla film ever made. My heart was in my throat the entire time.”
— John marston

“Great story telling. Very emotional and intensity. If you loved the first movie then you’ll definitely enjoy Minus Zero. Must see for all nerds. Ha!”
— David

“Reminiscent of Godzilla of old. Origin of Ghidora’s origin and his name (properly pronounced in Japanese) are very well explained. Ghidora is as powerful as you remember and the clash at the end was epic and brutal as can be imagined. The character development once again was fantastic, showing multiple angles of grief and growth throughout. This movie is a must see for Godzilla fans and those who truly like a good movie.”
— James G.

“Too much like a soap opera. Not enough of the monster scenes, lacking Godzilla who maybe got 30 minutes all together.”
— Padgett

“One Godzillion out of ten”
— Shannon P

“A bit slow, as all Godzilla movies tend to be, but the writing wasn’t as symbolic as the last film. Still great fun, but missing some of the finesse. Wish we would have gotten to see Ghidora after the big fight. Loved the ending, except for the weird family drama bit.”
— Cal

“There is no proper words to describe the level of art this movie has reached. It walks the fine line of boundaries humanity takes when all other options are spent and crosses them. The Japanese history woven into the movie grips the audience in the other side of the atomic bomb disaster. The pain, grief, and desperation clings to you long after walking out. Oscar worthy.”
— Carl B

“Top notch CGI and acting! Seeing Godzilla and Ghidorah was epic. I could not stop smiling whenever those two were on screen. And hearing their theme songs play while they were wrecking everything was the cherry on top. Definitely a must-see for good drama and action, even if youre not a kaiju fan. Make sure to bring some ear plugs though, the movie got pretty loud during the action scenes. Nevertheless, cant wait for (hopefully) a part three!”
