Hi there, I'm Marco 👋

Investor & Entrepreneur · Bioinformatician · PhD

I hold a PhD in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology from the University of Manchester and previously worked as a postdoctoral bioinformatician at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan. My research background spans genomics, single-cell RNA sequencing, genome assembly, and computational biology.

Today, my focus is increasingly on investing and entrepreneurship through acquisition. I manage my own investment portfolio and explore opportunities to acquire and develop small and medium-sized businesses, with particular interests in technology, healthcare, and biotechnology.

I still enjoy building things with code. My technical interests include AI, synthetic genome simulation, and testing how AI systems tackle complex bioinformatics problems.
