    AUS currently has two operating parking garages — the Red Garage and the Blue Garage — plus an open-air Economy Lot. A third structure, the Yellow Garage, is under construction and set to open Phase 1 in 2026. Here is a breakdown of each facility:

    I also had a random question that I’m not sure if you’re the contacts for, but perhaps you know who I should reach out to. I’m assisting our Parking Enterprise Division on dynamic messaging signs and parking occupancy sensors and realized that ABIA has this implemented in their garages. I’m wondering if you know who I can speak with that worked on the ABIA Park Assist project so that I can find out who the hardware vendor is and perhaps the contract information.

    Hello Marissa and John,
    Thank you to both of you for reviewing our SOW for the Wayfinding procurement. I have some more information and context that Joseph and I would like to add for Marissa. This information may not have been explicitly stated in the SOW.

    • The wayfinding signs and sensors need to work together as a system with smooth integration. While there are other vendors that provide wayfinding and other vendors that provide sensors, we believe that Cleverciti is the only vendor who can provide both solutions in a fully integrated system with advanced features, such as the ones listed below.
    • We would like for the sensors to support "guided enforcement," which would include technology that can determine if a time limit has been exceeded or if a vehicle is parked illegally, and then transmit that information to PED staff in real-time. Cleverciti's system includes this feature, and has a patent on a type of guided enforcement that we would like to procure (see the attached Sole Source Letter from Cleverciti.)
    • We would like to procure the patented Circ360 signs from Cleverciti so that we can display parking availability data to all four directions of traffic at an intersection. The alternative to using Cleverciti as a sole source would require us to install four separate signs at one intersection to transmit the same amount of information to the public, which may not be feasible logistically or financially.

    We are happy to meet to discuss what we are trying to procure if you'd like to get more insight on our case for a sole source contract.

    Thank you for this clarity. TPW needs to reach out to the procurement category manager for the “preapproval” of this COE or to discuss this in more detail. As your liaison, I am not authorized to determine what is or is not a sole source contract without procurement management consent.

    • Learned from Joseph on 11/2/26, that we'll need to talk to Sai X. (FSD) to see if they believe we can continue with the Sole Source approach or if we'll require soliciting quotes from multiple vendors.
