Correction
The 2026-07-28 Streamable HTTP specification requires
Mcp-Methodon each request.Mcp-Nameis required only fortools/call,resources/read, andprompts/get.The English and Chinese MCP migration guides currently imply that
Mcp-Nameis required on every request. This PR corrects the two explanations and the matching migration-checklist entries.Normative source: https://modelcontextprotocol.io/specification/2026-07-28/basic/transports/streamable-http (request metadata table).
Repository requirements
content_version: 2andreviewed_on: 2026-10-31.content-manifest.jsonregenerated with SHA-256 of both updated UTF-8 source files, using the repository's documented JSON serialization.Verification
Compared source-level diffs against upstream. SHA-256 of the original files matches the existing manifest, and the new manifest hashes match the updated files. Local repository tests were not run; maintainers and CI should independently verify them.
