• 2.7.5

Now placing 2.7.5 final in September, with beta mid August. Having been persuaded to include Java 25 support, and to shoot for a July release, we shall aim for a beta 12 July and a short beta period, carrying anything non-catastrophic over as a an issue or open PR. Obviously this is riskier than the previous plan. ... And being riskier, it has failed (dependencies causing test failures). *Previous Plan:* 2.7.5b1 (i.e. no new stuff) mid-May giving about 6 weeks for the results of one or two betas before rc1 and a release.
