make dist-pdf doesn't work, had to use different method #1836

Description

@SuperCowProducts

Documentation

Hello, found out about this page here, so I'd like to point this out.

The steps I had to use to get it to work were

make venv
make latex

cd build/latex

for i in $(find -name '*.tex')
do xelatex "$i"
done

    Hmm, looks like it's to do with the image converter not working...

    @SuperCowProducts you need to have rsvg-convert utility available in your OS to build the PDF documentation for 3.14 and main branches.

    It probably should be documented in the devguide or in the Download page description.

    We direct people to the devguide for instructions on the Downloads page, so let's document it here.

    Hi, I'd like to work on this, will add a note about the rsvg-convert dependency to the relevant doc page. Will open a PR shortly.
