Microsoft SQL Server support ships as a driver plugin from its own repository, tabularis-sqlserver-plugin, instead of a built-in driver inside the app binary. The first release, 1.0.0-beta.1, is in the plugin registry with builds for macOS, Linux and Windows and requires Tabularis 0.23.0 or later. It covers connection pooling, schema introspection, query execution, CRUD, DDL, triggers, stored routines and Visual EXPLAIN through its own SHOWPLAN XML parser.
Shipped as Tabularium, a purpose-built plugin registry live at registry.tabularis.dev since Tabularis v0.16.0. Developers sign in via OAuth (GitHub, GitLab, Gitea/Forgejo, Codeberg included), claim a plugin slug, link their repo, and new releases are picked up automatically via webhooks. The registry stays a catalog and trust layer, with binaries kept in the author's Releases, and signature and SHA-256 verification on install. Built by Dominik Spitzli (@NewtTheWolf) on issue #196.
