An unreleased Claude model built a remote root exploit for a Linux TCP flaw. In Anthropic's PoC, root commands ran in 53 minutes via an exposed MPTCP listener.
As of Oct 30, Debian 12/13 have fixes. RHEL, AlmaLinux, CloudLinux and Ubuntu don't.
