Frequently asked questions

Your question not answered here? Email us.

What counts as a reviewed line?

The added and deleted lines cubic reviews in your PRs. Generated files, vendored code, binaries and ignored files don't count, and incremental reviews only count new changes.

What's the difference between Pro and Max?

Max has every Pro feature and 2× the reviewed lines: 160,000 per developer each month instead of 80,000. Choose Max if your team regularly runs past Pro's allowance.

What happens if we go over our lines?

Reviews pause until your next billing period. To keep them running, an admin can turn on flex capacity: extra lines cost $20 per 10,000, charged only when needed, up to a monthly limit you set.

Who needs a seat?

On Team, you choose who gets a seat. On Pro and Max, every developer who opens 15 or more PRs in 30 days needs one, because scans cover the whole repository. Bots don't count.

Can we change plans later?

Yes. Upgrades apply right away and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at your next billing period.

When does usage reset?

Reviewed-line usage resets with the billing period.

What programming languages do you support?

cubic is language-agnostic and supports all popular programming languages, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, Ruby, Java, and C#.

Do you have an open source plan?

Yes, cubic is free for public repositories. Just connect cubic to a public repository to get AI reviews.

Built to make you extraordinarily productive.
